Critics of Christianity

To criticize is easy; it does not take genius, study, or even reason, merely a mouth. On the other hand, to dismantle a standing point of view, a person must hold in their mind the truth. Truth and light in the scriptures, as in 1 John 1, can be used as synonymous terms. The reason is the truth always discredits lies, misconceptions, and errors because the light reveals as does truth. The Apostle Paul, when laying the Gospel (good news) foundation, explained the heart that denies and hates God. "They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen." Romans 1:25. The truth is, as Einstein said, "There has to be a God because nothing creates nothing." What is the truth about God that men exchange for a lie? Before Paul made the statement about the evil exchange said, "Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures." The glory of God is that He always existed. Something had always to exist, or else there can be no explanation for the question, from where did everything come?

To prove Christianity wrong a person must prove the Bible wrong and many have tried. It was upon a New Testament scripture that men, once upon a time, would place their hand on and repeat, "I sware to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God." It is in this now anti God culture that has seen fit to do away with that practice. Never the less, no one can rightly discredit the scriptures and James Warner Wallace an Los Angels detective for twenty years expressed why in the movie, God's Not Dead 2. James played himself in the move. Click the link below to see the clip.
